Mixus Launches AI Agent Platform Built for the Inbox, Raises $2.6M Pre-Seed

AI startup Mixus has emerged from Stanford with a $2.6 million pre-seed round and a bold approach to agent-based automation. Unlike traditional platforms, Mixus embeds AI agents directly into workplace tools like email and Slack, enabling users to manage multi-step workflows without switching environments. The company is targeting a common criticism of AI agents: unreliability, poor collaboration, and lack of oversight.

Founded by Elliot Katz and Shai Magzimof, Mixus allows users to create, run, and verify agents using natural language. Its platform supports human-in-the-loop verification, shared memory through “Spaces,” and seamless integration with tools like Jira and Gmail. Early adopters include Rainbow Shops and several finance and tech firms. Built on models from OpenAI and Anthropic, Mixus aims to redefine digital collaboration through enterprise-ready, autonomous agents.
