Meta Expands AI Video Platform ‘Vibes’ to Europe Following U.S. Launch

Meta has announced the European rollout of Vibes, its AI-generated short-form video feed available within the Meta AI app. The platform, first launched in the United States six weeks ago, allows users to create, share, and remix AI-generated videos, functioning as an AI-powered alternative to TikTok or Instagram Reels.

Vibes enables users to generate videos using text prompts or remix existing clips by adding visuals, music, or stylistic effects. The feed personalizes recommendations over time based on user engagement and interests.

The expansion comes as Meta reports a tenfold increase in AI media generation across its apps since Vibes debuted, underscoring the company’s broader strategy to embed AI creativity and generative tools across its social platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
