First Voyage Closes $2.5M Seed Round to Expand AI Companion App Momo for Habit Formation

First Voyage, a consumer AI startup founded by Besart Çopa and CTO Egehan Ozsoy, has raised $2.5 million in seed funding to scale Momo Self Care, its AI-powered companion app designed to help users build healthier habits. The round included backing from a16z speedrun, SignalFire, True Global, and additional investors.

Momo combines an AI companion with gamified self-care, allowing users to set goals, receive reminders, and earn in-app rewards for completing habit-building tasks. Users can also interact conversationally with Momo, which recommends personalized routines across areas such as productivity, mindfulness, and well-being. To date, users have created more than 2 million tasks on the platform.

The new funding will support the Android launch and further development of Momo’s AI capabilities, with built-in safety guardrails, as First Voyage works to establish a trusted consumer brand in AI-driven self-care.
