Anthropic Launches “Reflect” Usage Dashboard as Musk Praises Anthropic and Deepens SpaceX Compute Partnership

Anthropic introduced a new feature called Reflect, a dashboard allowing Claude users to track and visualize their AI usage patterns, topics discussed, and task types. Beyond analytics, Reflect is designed to encourage mindful AI use, periodically prompting users with reflective questions and offering tools to set quiet hours or scheduled breaks. The feature also provides usage tips, such as suggesting Claude’s Projects feature to reduce repeated context-setting, while more deeply integrating Claude into users’ daily workflows. Anthropic said sensitive conversations appear only at a high level in Reflect, health-related integrations are excluded entirely, and no data is used beyond generating personal insights. The feature is currently in beta for Free, Pro and Max users with memory enabled.

Separately, Elon Musk publicly praised Anthropic this week, reversing earlier skepticism about the company’s prospects and stating he would not use SpaceX’s infrastructure to disadvantage the AI lab, despite Anthropic being one of SpaceX’s largest customers. Anthropic signed a deal in May to purchase 300 megawatts of compute from xAI’s Colossus 1 data center, worth an estimated $40 billion in revenue for SpaceX’s xAI unit through 2029, following a similar arrangement between Google and SpaceX. Musk pointed to Tesla’s patent pledge and open Supercharger network as evidence of his approach toward competitors, while acknowledging in earlier legal proceedings that AI companies routinely attempt to distill competitors’ models, a practice Anthropic has previously said Chinese AI firms attempted against Claude.
