Prime Intellect Raises $130M Series A at $1 Billion Valuation to Power Enterprise AI Agent Development

Prime Intellect, a startup providing computing infrastructure and tools for building AI agents, has raised a $130 million Series A at a $1 billion valuation. The round was led by Radical Ventures, with participation from Nvidia Ventures, Intel Capital, Dell Technologies Capital, Iconiq, and several notable angel investors including Aravind Srinivas, Aaron Levie, Winston Weinberg, Jeff Wang, and Brendan Foody.

Founded in 2024 by CEO Vincent Weisser, Prime Intellect aims to help organizations train their own AI agents without depending on frontier AI labs. The company offers a full-stack platform combining compute access, reinforcement learning tools, and evaluation infrastructure, structured as a modular marketplace that allows customers to select specific components rather than committing to an all-in-one system.

Radical Ventures partner David Katz said Prime Intellect has assembled frontier-level AI development capabilities in an affordable, unified offering. The company’s customers include Ramp, Zapier, and Flapping Airplanes, helping it reach an annualized revenue run rate of $100 million. Ramp co-CEO Karim Atiyeh said an agent built using Prime Intellect’s tools outperformed frontier models on accuracy while running faster and at lower cost.

Weisser said growing enterprise concerns over data control and dependence on closed AI labs are driving demand for infrastructure that allows companies to build and own their own AI systems independently.
