Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told attendees at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology conference on Thursday that he expects the company’s AI-driven revenue growth to continue at a record pace through next year, reiterating earlier guidance of roughly 70% year-over-year growth. With analysts projecting Nvidia will close its current fiscal year near $400 billion in revenue, that trajectory would put next year’s figure around $680 billion.
Huang attributed his confidence to Nvidia’s central role across the AI ecosystem, noting that every major AI lab, including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, relies on its hardware, alongside open-weight model developers. He described Nvidia as tracking global data center capacity, power availability, and infrastructure development across its extensive partner network of cloud providers, hardware makers, and AI-native companies.
Addressing scrutiny over Nvidia’s investment deals with companies that subsequently purchase its products, Huang argued the arrangements aren’t circular, characterizing them instead as small investments generating substantial returns, and said the company only invests once it identifies real, revenue-generating contracts, citing roughly $100 billion worth of such agreements.
Huang’s remarks come as Nvidia faces growing competition from hyperscalers building their own chips, AI labs developing in-house silicon, and emerging rivals like Cerebras and Etched, even as demand for AI infrastructure continues expanding rapidly.
