NVIDIA is set to establish a $200 million artificial intelligence (AI) hub in Surakarta, Central Java, in collaboration with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, marking a significant move in Southeast Asia.

This center aims to enhance local telecom infrastructure and digital skills, driving Indonesia towards a new era of AI and technology, as highlighted by Indonesia’s Communication Minister, Budi Arie Setiadi.

The partnership is part of NVIDIA’s strategy to meet the surging data demands in the region, fueled by the expanding digital economy.
