Clout Kitchen Secures $4.45M to Launch Backseat AI, a Gaming Buddy Inspired by Content Creators Like Tyler1

Clout Kitchen has raised $4.45 million in seed funding to develop creator-driven products, starting with Backseat AI, an AI-powered companion for League of Legends.

Developed in collaboration with content creator Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp, Backseat AI mimics popular creators and offers real-time gameplay tips using their voices. Early access launched in June, and players can subscribe for $4.99 per creator-specific “buddy,” with options including Tyler1, Emiru, and Jankos.

The funding will help Clout Kitchen expand its team and technology, with plans to introduce AI buddies in other games and sectors.
