IBM and NVIDIA Expand Collaboration with New AI Integrations to Power Enterprise-Scale Agentic Applications

IBM has announced an expansion of its collaboration with NVIDIA, unveiling new integrations based on the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design to support enterprise-scale generative and agentic AI. As part of the partnership, IBM will launch a content-aware storage capability within IBM Fusion, enhance watsonx integrations with NVIDIA NIM, and introduce consulting services to streamline adoption across industries.

IBM CTO Hillery Hunter said the alliance aims to accelerate AI deployment while improving data orchestration and governance. Rob Davis, VP at NVIDIA, emphasized the need for intelligent, scalable systems to unify data and compute. Together, the companies are delivering infrastructure to support next-generation AI at scale.
