Crusoe Announces $1.38B in Funding to Expand AI Data Center Infrastructure Valued at $10B

Crusoe, the Denver-based AI data center startup, announced it has raised $1.38 billion in an oversubscribed Series E funding round at a valuation of approximately $10 billion. The round is being co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Mubadala Capital, with participation from major investors including Nvidia, Fidelity Management, and Founders Fund.

Founded in 2018, Crusoe has now raised a total of $3.9 billion to advance its mission of building high-efficiency, low-emission data infrastructure optimized for AI workloads. The company, which played a key role in constructing OpenAI’s first large-scale U.S. data center, recently announced that the first phase of its 1.2-gigawatt facility in Abilene, Texas, is operational — just one year after construction began.
