Vida has closed a $4 million Series A round to advance its AI-driven voice technology and expand its automated customer communication platform into new industries. The round was led by Trammell Venture Partners with participation from Timechain and additional investors, strengthening support for the company as its AI phone agents surpass 100 million customer interactions.
Vida has rapidly established itself as a leading provider of AI voice agents that automate customer engagement for enterprises and small businesses. Its platform powers tens of thousands of AI agents across sectors including construction, healthcare, automotive, telecom, and professional services. The company’s technology enables organizations to manage high call volumes, reduce wait times, and deliver consistent service across voice, web, and SMS channels.
The new capital will fund continued product development and global distribution, with a focus on small businesses, telecom operators, and managed service providers. Vida reports that its AI agents resolve customer inquiries significantly faster than traditional human-handled calls, helping businesses increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
As part of the investment, Christopher Calicott of Trammell Venture Partners has been appointed Chairman of the Board. Vida also announced three senior leadership additions to support its next phase of growth: Jordan Gadapee as Chief Marketing Officer, Mark Lilien as Chief Technology Officer, and Thomas Quintana as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence.
Vida’s AI operating system is built by telecommunications veterans and enables real-time, low-latency voice interactions for customer service, scheduling, lead qualification, and sales conversion. The company continues to scale its footprint globally, aiming to bring reliable, high-performance AI agents to businesses seeking modern communication solutions.
