Brazilian automation and conversational AI company ColmeIA has received a $3.4 million follow-on investment from Crescera Capital, bringing the firm’s total commitment to $8.2 million in under two years. The new funding values ColmeIA close to $95 million, reinforcing confidence in its execution and expansion in Brazil’s AI market.
Founded and led by José Caodaglio, ColmeIA focuses on AI-powered automation and scalable conversational technologies for major enterprises across banking, retail, distribution, and consumer goods. The startup has tripled revenue and doubled headcount since Crescera’s initial investment, while securing multiple large corporate customers.
The new capital will support continued product innovation — including its AI automation platform Polímata, analytics advancements, and data-sovereignty deployment options — as well as expansion into a larger São Paulo headquarters in 2025. ColmeIA plans to further scale operations as demand grows for reliable, enterprise-grade AI automation in Brazil.
