Alinia AI has secured $7.5 million in seed funding led by Mouro Capital, with participation from Raise Seed For Good, Speedinvest, and Precursor Ventures, to accelerate development of its compliance platform for regulated industries deploying generative AI. As financial institutions increasingly rely on AI assistants, compliance workloads have outpaced traditional manual review processes, creating a significant barrier to safe adoption under strict regulatory regimes.
Founded by Ariadna Font Llitjós and Carlos Muñoz Ferrandis, Alinia offers a vendor-agnostic Guardrails API and AI Compliance Platform that embed policy enforcement, real-time auditing, and risk monitoring directly into AI systems. Purpose-built models such as an Investment Guard and Hallucination Detector are designed to meet jurisdiction-specific rules, providing the precision required for sectors governed by complex frameworks.
The company is already working with major financial institutions and fintechs to support enterprise-grade governance. With new funding, Alinia will expand R&D teams in Europe and the U.S. and develop tools that allow non-technical teams to manage AI risk at scale, positioning the startup as core infrastructure for responsible AI deployment.
