Galatek, a Singapore-based automation and artificial intelligence startup, has secured $30 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate product development and international expansion. The investors in the round were not disclosed.
Led by David Tian, Galatek builds AI-driven automation platforms for life sciences and semiconductor manufacturing. Its Abio software platform enables smart laboratories by combining AI-powered electronic lab notebooks, laboratory information management systems, scientific data management, and automation to speed up research and development workflows. In parallel, the company delivers advanced AI solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, including deep-learning optical inspection, automated overlay measurement, and precision wafer dicing systems.
The new capital will support expansion of technical teams and customer deployments across Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia, strengthening Galatek’s position as a global AI infrastructure partner for high-complexity industries.
