Farmevo Secures Strategic Investment to Accelerate AI-Driven Remote Sensing in North America

Farmevo, an artificial intelligence company applying autonomous remote sensing to real-world industries, has closed a strategic funding round led by Gutter Capital and will relocate its global headquarters to New York City as part of its next growth phase.

The investment will support Farmevo’s expansion across North American agriculture and forestry markets, scaling its AI-powered drone and analytics platform while growing research, engineering, and commercial teams. Led by CEO Ali Fawad, the company focuses on lowering barriers to drone adoption through AI automation that delivers near real-time insights without requiring pilot licenses or specialist GIS skills.

Farmevo’s technology is already used in crop monitoring, seed production, and forestry surveying, where its AI models significantly reduce fieldwork time. With backing from Gutter Capital founders Dan Teran and James Gettinger, Farmevo aims to broaden adoption of accessible, production-ready AI sensing across critical land-based industries.
