AI cybersecurity startup Vega Security has raised $120 million in a Series B funding round led by Accel, with participation from Cyberstarts, Redpoint, and CRV, bringing total funding to $185 million and valuing the company at approximately $700 million. The two-year-old company is building an AI-native security operations platform designed to detect threats directly where enterprise data resides, including cloud services, data lakes, and distributed storage environments.
Founded by CEO Shay Sandler, Vega aims to modernize SIEM security workflows by reducing reliance on centralized data storage and enabling real-time detection across complex cloud infrastructures. The company has secured multimillion-dollar contracts with enterprise customers across banking, healthcare, and Fortune 500 organizations, including Instacart.
The new funding will support global expansion, product development, and go-to-market growth as enterprises adopt AI-driven security operations.
