Anthropic Launches Enterprise Agents Program to Accelerate Workplace Adoption of Agentic AI

Anthropic has introduced a new enterprise agents program designed to embed agentic AI across corporate workflows, marking a major expansion of its enterprise strategy. Kate Jensen, head of Americas, indicated the initiative addresses earlier shortcomings in enterprise agent deployments by focusing on practical integration rather than experimental use. The program enables organizations to deploy pre-built AI agents through a plug-in framework to support common functions such as financial research, engineering specifications, legal tasks, and HR operations.

The offering builds on Anthropic’s Claude Cowork platform and previously previewed plug-in system, adding private software marketplaces, controlled data flows, and centralized administrative controls tailored to enterprise IT requirements. Product officer Matt Piccolella emphasized the goal of enabling customized agents for each employee. New enterprise connectors, including integrations with Gmail, DocuSign, and Clay, allow agents to securely access organizational data and automate routine business processes.
