DeepIP Raises $25M Series B to Expand AI Infrastructure for Patent Operations

DeepIP, an AI platform focused on patent workflow automation, has raised $25 million in Series B funding, bringing the company’s total capital raised to $40 million as demand grows for AI-driven infrastructure in intellectual property management. The round was co-led by Korelya Capital and Serena, with participation from Headline and Balderton.

Founded by François-Xavier Leduc and Edouard d’Archimbaud, the company develops AI systems designed to integrate directly into patent professionals’ existing workflows, including environments such as Microsoft Word and enterprise IP management platforms. The technology aims to support the full patent lifecycle, from early innovation and drafting to enforcement and portfolio management.

DeepIP said its platform is already used by patent professionals across more than 400 law firms and corporate IP teamsoperating in 25 jurisdictions, including organizations such as Greenberg Traurig, Philips, Dexcom, and Mewburn Ellis.

According to François-Xavier Leduc, the company is focused on embedding artificial intelligence directly into the environments where patent work already occurs, allowing professionals to maintain continuity across complex multi-year patent processes. The platform has already assisted with over 40,000 patent matters, reflecting growing adoption as enterprises consolidate fragmented AI tools into integrated infrastructure for patent operations.
