AI-powered coding platform Replit has secured $400 million in Series D funding, valuing the company at $9 billion as it accelerates growth in AI-driven software development tools. The funding round was led by Georgian Partners, with participation from G Squared, Prysm Capital, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, Accenture Ventures, Okta Ventures, and Databricks Ventures.
Founder and CEO Amjad Masad confirmed that the round also included high-profile angel investors Shaquille O’Nealand Jared Leto. The new financing follows a $250 million round in September, when the company reached a valuation of $3 billion and reported it was approaching $150 million in annualized revenue.
Replit has gained attention for its AI-assisted coding tools that enable both developers and non-programmers to build applications using conversational prompts. The company said it aims to reach $1 billion in annual recurring revenue by the end of the year as adoption of AI-driven software creation continues to expand.
