Go.AI™ Secures $85M Series A to Accelerate On-Prem AI Infrastructure for Regulated Industries

Insider Brief

  • Go.AI, formerly Go Abacus, raised $85 million in Series A funding led by Updata Partners with existing investors GFT Ventures and LAUNCH, bringing total funding to $90 million, following its recent rebrand and the earlier launch of The Go1, an on-prem AI hardware and software solution.
  • The company has grown to over 200 customers across financial services, healthcare, aerospace and defense, and manufacturing, with annual recurring revenue up more than 8x year over year and profitability maintained, processing over 12.5 million queries daily.
  • Funding will expand the engineering team, accelerate development of its Go.OS software and hardware line, and scale go-to-market efforts as Go.AI moves beyond regulated industries into broader compliance-minded sectors, alongside plans for expanded client education and marketing.

PRESS RELEASE — Go.AI™, the leading provider of on-premises, examiner-ready AI infrastructure for regulated industries, announced it has raised $85 million in Series A funding, bringing total funding to date to $90 million. The round was led by Updata Partners, with participation from existing investors GFT Ventures and LAUNCH.

The raise follows Go.AI’s rebrand from Go Abacus earlier this month, and adds to a year of momentum that began with the launch of The Go1™, the industry’s first on-prem AI hardware and software solution for regulated organizations.

“When Lisa Gillespie and I cofounded the company, we were two people with a big idea. Today we have over 50 team members, and the company we’ve built is doing exactly what we said it would do for the institutions that trust us most,” said David Moscatelli, Co-Founder and CEO of Go.AI. “This funding lets us keep building at that pace, but the thing I’m most proud of isn’t the growth number, it’s the education. AI doesn’t have to be something people fear or don’t understand. Done right, it works alongside the people who use it. That’s what this round lets us prove, at scale.”

Go.AI has grown rapidly over the past year, reaching more than 200 customers. Annual recurring revenue is up more than 8x year over year, and the company continues to be profitable. Go.AI’s customers run on-premises AI deployments processing more than 12.5 million queries per day, with primary industry focus areas spanning financial services, healthcare, aerospace and defense, and manufacturing.

The business will use the funding to expand the engineering team, accelerate development of both the software operating system, Go.OS, and hardware line, and scale go-to-market efforts as the company moves beyond regulated industries and into a broader set of compliance-minded organizations.

“Go.AI built the AI stack that regulated institutions can actually deploy: software and hardware that live inside the customer’s secure environment with no proprietary data going to a third party. All of this at a fixed fee with no per-token surprise costs,” said Carter Griffin, General Partner at Updata Partners. “Go.AI’s combination of explosive growth and profitability is exactly what we look for at Updata. We are thrilled to partner with David, Lisa, and the entire Go.AI team.”

Looking ahead, Go.AI intends to continue expanding the team while investing significantly in training and client advisory to further customers’ understanding of what secure, on-premises AI can offer. This effort includes an upcoming company podcast series and expanded marketing initiatives designed to counter fear-based narratives surrounding AI adoption, demonstrating how organizations can adopt the technology confidently and responsibly.
