Autentic AI has closed a €1.5 million pre-seed round with participation from Baobab Ventures, Lanai Ventures, Acurio Ventures and Masia VC. Founded by Dani Diestre, Aniol Carreras and Jacob Bamio, the startup uses AI to interview hundreds of verified, compensated consumers and experts simultaneously, delivering results in days rather than the weeks or months traditional studies require.
The funding will accelerate development of the platform to further automate the research process and build the company’s own recruitment infrastructure. Diestre, Co-CEO and co-founder, said traditional research relies heavily on manual work, often taking around 12 weeks and costing tens or hundreds of thousands of euros, while Autentic combines AI with human expertise and always keeps a research professional involved. AI analyses large volumes of conversations to identify patterns, with the human team providing judgement and methodological rigour.
The platform currently conducts 1,000 interviews a day, aiming to exceed 400,000 by the end of 2026, across consumer goods, retail, pharma and cosmetics, and strategic consulting and private equity. Carles Reina of Baobab Ventures said Autentic makes frequent research accessible to all companies, while Guillermo Llibre of Lanai VC and Kate Cornell of Acurio Ventures highlighted its speed, cost advantages and team.
