Dapta, which builds an AI sales agent for small and medium-sized businesses, has secured $6 million in seed funding led by Chingona Ventures, with participation from Crew Capital, Broom Ventures, Cometa VC and pre-seed backers 500 Global and Fen Ventures. The round follows a $1.4 million pre-seed round in 2024.
The company’s agent, Dapti, instantly answers, qualifies and schedules meetings with inbound prospects without human involvement. Founded by Nicolás Rojas, Dapta first gained traction among Spanish-speaking SMB owners in the U.S. and now serves businesses across the U.S. and Latin America, as well as larger customers such as Mercado Libre and Rappi. Internal data shows contact rates doubling for companies using Dapti.
Rojas said Dapti has more than 200,000 users and is adding upwards of 4,000 each week, adding that every SMB will eventually rely on AI agents. Revenue has doubled in the past six months and is expected to exceed $4 million annually.
Samara Hernandez, founding partner of Chingona Ventures, said Dapti gives small teams the always-on responsiveness larger firms get from full sales staff, while Brandon Deer, GP of Crew Capital, said the team had built rare trust with an underserved market.
The funding will support expansion, broader AI agent capabilities, customer acquisition and team growth.
