Anthropic Adds Enterprise Reporting Tools as Claude Code Drives 900% Net Revenue Retention
Anthropic has introduced a suite of reporting tools that give enterprise customers a more detailed view of the value they get from their token spending, following investor financials showing an operating profit in the second quarter and 900% net revenue retention for its AI coding tool, Claude Code.
Drawing on internal analytics and employee surveys, the reports let managers see what a team produced over a set period, what it cost and where workflows broke down, alongside recommendations for improvement. Anthropic said the data will not be used for model training by default. It is also introducing pooled group budgets to help teams manage token spend.
A Jellyfish report covering 276,000 users found tools built on Anthropic models account for nearly a third of proposed code changes, with spending up tenfold this year to about 2% of engineering costs. Chief scientist Nicholas Arcolanosaid most CFOs did not plan for that growth and companies now need to optimize their spending.
AI product lead Nikolas Albarran said OpenAI’s Codex has gained ground since its Astra model, but Anthropic’s strong enterprise approach and standardized workflows mean customers see little reason to switch. He added that switching costs are rising as organizations invest effort in a single platform.
