Skyports Secures over $110M in Series C Funding with ACS Group Leading the Investment

Skyports, a prominent provider of vertiport infrastructure and drone services, recently secured over $110 million in a Series C funding round. The substantial investment, led by ACS Group through its subsidiary Iridium Concesiones de Infraestructuras S.A., makes ACS the principal shareholder. The new funds will enhance Skyports’ global vertiport projects and drone services. These include a partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai and Joby Aviation to launch air taxi services in Dubai by 2026 and expansions in offshore energy deliveries, medical transport, and asset inspections through Skyports Drone Services.

The partnership aims to integrate Skyports’ drone services into ACS Group’s infrastructure projects, enhancing transport and construction operations. Other significant contributors to the funding round include Groupe ADP, a longstanding collaborator with Skyports since 2019, focusing on developing vertiport infrastructures like the first European vertiport testbed in Paris. This collective investment underscores strong market confidence in Skyports and sets the stage for substantial growth in the aviation services sector, driven by a commitment to advancing sustainable mobility solutions.
