Context.ai, a startup focused on analytics and evaluations for AI models, has announced that its co-founders Henry Scott-Green and Alex Gamble will join OpenAI following an acqui-hire. As part of the move, Context.ai will wind down its existing products, the company confirmed in a public message.
Founded in 2023 by former Google employees, Context.ai built tools to help developers analyze model performance, offering dashboards and APIs to track usage and content relevance. CEO Scott-Green previously noted that many teams struggle with understanding how their models are used and evaluated.
OpenAI has not disclosed the terms of the deal. Scott-Green now serves as a product manager at OpenAI, where he will focus on building evaluation tools.
