Melbourne-based AI startup Fluency has raised $1.5 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed round backed by Archangel Ventures, HammerTech co-founder Bradley Tabone, and Singapore-based funds 1MX.ai and Orvel Ventures.
Founded in 2023 by Finnlay Morcombe and Oliver Farnill, Fluency’s platform automates enterprise process documentation and provides real-time workflow visibility, cutting documentation time by over 90%.
CEO Finnlay Morcombe said legacy tools still dominate critical workflows and that Fluency was built to modernize these processes using AI.
Already supporting over 2,000 workflows for clients including AON, Specsavers, Boardroom, and MISUMI, the company plans to expand its engineering team and further develop its AI to support automated process execution at scale.
