Rosebud, the AI journaling app designed to act as a personal mentor, has secured $6 million in seed funding to expand its platform and grow its team. Led by Bessemer Venture Partners, the round included participation from 776, Initialized Capital, Fuel Capital, Avenir, and notable angel investors such as Tim Ferriss.
Founded in 2023 by Chrys Bader and Sean Dadashi, Rosebud leverages AI to analyze users’ journal entries, offering insights, prompts, and support tailored to individual emotional needs and goals. Bader said the app’s AI enables scalable, deeply personalized mentorship, unlocking a level of support previously unattainable.
The funding will fuel hiring, product development, and efforts to make Rosebud accessible through partnerships with schools, clinics, and enterprises.
