Dutch startup ScoutinScience has raised nearly €1 million in growth funding to accelerate the expansion of its AI-driven platform that identifies innovation and technology transfer opportunities from academic research. The round included continued backing from 819 Capital and a network of angel investors with expertise in AI, research, and R&D strategy.
Founded in 2020, ScoutinScience uses artificial intelligence to scan global scientific publications and surface high-potential research for universities, corporations, and governments. The platform offers advanced filtering by TRL levels, SDG goals, patents, and more, streamlining the discovery of commercially viable science.
With clients across Germany, Ireland, Austria, and the Netherlands, ScoutinScience plans to use the funding to scale into new European markets and enhance its proprietary innovation measurement tools.
