Augment Secures $85M Series A to Expand AI Assistant for Logistics

Augment, the AI logistics startup founded by Harish Abbott, co-founder and former CEO of Deliverr, has secured an $85 million Series A led by Redpoint, with participation from 8VC, Autotech Ventures, and others. The funding comes just five months after the company emerged from stealth with a $25 million seed round.

Augment’s AI assistant, Augie, automates repetitive freight management tasks such as gathering bids, tracking shipments, building loads, and processing invoices across channels like email, voice, Slack, SMS, and Telegram. The company has already doubled its customer base since launch, with clients including Armstrong Transport Group reporting significant efficiency gains. Augment plans to scale its engineering team and expand into international shipping and broader logistics markets.
