Palantir and Lumen Technologies Form Multi-Year AI Partnership Worth Over $200M

Palantir Technologies has entered into a multi-year, multi-million-dollar strategic partnership with Lumen Technologies to integrate Palantir’s Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) into Lumen’s edge computing and broadband infrastructure. The collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of enterprise AI services across industries.

According to Bloomberg, the deal is valued at over $200 million and builds on an earlier collaboration announced in September, when Lumen began using Palantir’s platforms internally to streamline operations, finance, and network management. The company reported that the use of Palantir’s AI contributed significantly to achieving $350 million in cost reductions this year and informed its broader enterprise rollout.

Led by Kate Johnson, Lumen is evolving from a traditional telecom provider into a modern technology infrastructure company, while Palantir, under Alex Karp, continues expanding its footprint in commercial AI. The partnership marks Palantir’s 19th major AI agreement this year, reinforcing its role as a leading provider of applied AI systems for large-scale digital transformation.
