Meta Launches Unified AI-Powered Support Hub to Improve Account Security and Recovery Across Facebook and Instagram

Meta has introduced a new centralized support hub designed to simplify how users across Facebook and Instagramsecure their accounts and resolve access issues. Rolling out globally on iOS and Android, the hub brings together tools for reporting problems, recovering lost accounts, and receiving guidance through AI-powered search and an intelligent assistant that can help with tasks such as updating settings or troubleshooting login issues.

The company says advances in AI-driven protection have already reduced account hacking across Meta platforms by more than 30%, while improving detection of phishing attempts, suspicious logins, and compromised accounts. The system is also designed to avoid erroneous account disabling and accelerate reversal when mistakes do occur.

With the new experience, Meta aims to address long-standing frustrations from users who have struggled to reach support or regain access to business-critical pages. The hub offers clearer verification steps, enhanced alerts about risky activity, and more secure recovery options — including optional selfie video authentication and recommendations for additional safeguards like two-factor authentication and passkeys.
