iMaintain Closes £250k Pre-Seed to Build AI-Driven Maintenance Knowledge Platform

UK SaaS startup iMaintain has closed a £250,000 pre-seed funding round to accelerate development of its AI-enabled platform designed to capture, structure, and reuse maintenance knowledge for manufacturers. The round was backed by early-stage investor SFC Capital and will support expanded customer deployments and the scaling of AI-driven features across UK manufacturing environments.

Based in Gloucestershire, iMaintain focuses on transforming fragmented, experience-based maintenance insights into shared, searchable organisational intelligence. The company said the platform addresses a critical barrier to effective industrial AI adoption by first establishing reliable data foundations on the factory floor.

Hannah Savagar, Director at iMaintain, said the funding supports the company’s mission to build practical, human-centred technology that helps maintenance teams reduce recurring faults and preserve operational expertise. The investment positions iMaintain to grow alongside manufacturers seeking more reliable, data-led maintenance practices.
