Clouted, a startup backed by a16z’s Speedrun accelerator, has secured a $7 million seed round led by Slow Ventures, with Gold House Ventures, Weekend Fund, and Peak XV’s Surge among the participants.
The company, co-founded and led by CEO Justin Banusing, uses AI to manage the full lifecycle of short-form video marketing — from coordinating a network of over 100,000 freelance video editors to determining optimal distribution across social platforms. Its AI continuously tests clip formats and audience strategies, making each campaign more targeted than the last.
Banusing developed the technology through his own experience promoting &Friends, a Manila-based electronic music festival now attracting more than 20,000 attendees. He positions Clouted’s longer-term competition as enterprise marketing infrastructure players like CreatorIQ and Hightouch.
