Equal AI, a Hyderabad-based developer of AI-native phone screening and conversational intelligence software, has closed a $30 million Series B round co-led by Prosus Ventures and Tomales Bay Capital, with Think Investments and Valiant Fund also participating. Total funding now exceeds $42 million.

Founded in 2022 by Keshav Reddy, the company builds autonomous voice software that answers and filters calls, identifies caller intent in real time, blocks fraudulent spam, and generates transcripts, summaries, and automated responses. Its infrastructure has been deployed to process millions of calls across global telecom networks, with low-latency multilingual voice models designed for complex conversational dynamics.

The funding will be used to scale global engineering infrastructure, expand natural language voice processing capabilities, and accelerate adoption across international consumer and enterprise markets.
