Humanoid has raised $152 million in Series A funding to develop and deploy industrial humanoid robots.
According to the UK-based Ai and robotics startup, the round valued it at $1.35 billion after the investment and brought its total funding to $270 million. Prime Movers Lab led the round, with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital and Aglaé Ventures.
“In just two years, we’ve gone from an idea to becoming Europe’s first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn, partnered with some of the world’s leading industrial companies and built one of the strongest pipelines in the industry,” founder and CEO Artem Sokolov said in the announcement. “What we’ve accomplished in such a short time would typically take a decade. None of this would have been possible without an extraordinary team that challenges every single day what people believe is possible.This funding gives us the resources to move even faster and to turn humanoid robots from breakthrough technology into everyday industrial tools.”
What’s Next for Humanoid?
Humanoid is focused on wheeled humanoid robots rather than legged systems. The company said the approach is aimed at manufacturing, logistics and other sectors facing labor shortages and operational pressure.
Humanoid indicated the funding will go to support:
Platform development: the development and launch of its next-generation humanoid robotics platform.
Commercial deployments: longer-term rollouts at customer facilities in logistics, manufacturing, retail and other industrial settings, beginning with beta robots in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Manufacturing: the start of mass production for wheel-based humanoid robots.
AI software: continued development of KinetIQ, the company’s proprietary AI system for industrial robots.
Humanoid has announced partnerships with SAP, Nvidia, Bosch and Siemens and it recently signed a commercial agreement with Schaeffler for the large-scale deployment of thousands of humanoid robots in manufacturing environments.
