Alta Ares has closed its first €2 million funding round to accelerate the development of next-generation embedded AI and MLOps solutions for defense and critical infrastructure. The round was co-led by Expansion and Starburst, with participation from Durandal Capital, Apeiron Venture Capital, Better Angle, Kima Ventures, APOK Invest, EPSL VC, and Samuel Dralet.
Positioning itself at the intersection of resilience, performance, and trust, Alta Ares is building AI systems designed for deployment in high-stakes military and strategic environments. The company is working closely with elite defense units and NATO’s Allied Command Transformation to ensure its technologies meet the operational demands of modern warfare.
Alta Ares said this funding marks just the beginning of its mission.
