BotCity, a platform that governs Python-based automations and AI agents, has raised $12 million in funding led by Dan Scholnick of Four Rivers, with participation from Y Combinator, Astella, Firestreak Ventures, Upload Ventures, Scale Up by Endeavor, and Sagol Holdings. Prominent angel investors including Lew Cirne, founder of New Relic, also joined the round.
Founded in 2018, BotCity provides governance, orchestration, and security for enterprise-scale automations and AI workflows. The company’s platform is already used by over 1,000 teams worldwide, including major organizations such as Bayer, LG, XP, and Stone. The new capital will accelerate the expansion of BotCity’s automation governance tools, including Sentinel for endpoint security and Opportunity Hub for process discovery.
