Resolve AI, a startup building an autonomous site reliability engineer that maintains and repairs software systems in real time, has raised a Series A led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, according to people familiar with the transaction. The round carries a headline valuation of $1 billion, with a multi-tranched structure that prices portions of the investment at different levels. Resolve AI is reported to be generating approximately $4 million in annual recurring revenue.
Founded less than two years ago, Resolve AI is led by Spiros Xanthos, a former Splunk executive, and Mayank Agarwal, Splunk’s former chief architect for observability. The founders previously co-founded Omnition, which Splunk acquired in 2019.
Resolve AI’s platform autonomously identifies, diagnoses, and resolves production incidents, addressing the growing shortage of skilled SREs in complex cloud environments. The company previously raised a $35 million seed round led by Greylock, with participation from Fei-Fei Li and Jeff Dean.
