KIDZ AI has secured $1.9 million in financing to expand manufacturing and commercial deployment of its KIDZBot educational robotics platform.
According to the company, the funding comes through KIDZ AI’s previously announced $500 million senior secured convertible note financing facility and the $1.9 million figure is before placement agent fees and other offering expenses. Kidz AI said the proceeds will support manufacturing capacity and deployment of KIDZBot, a physical AI platform designed to teach robotics, coding and AI concepts through hands-on applications.
The company also annouced it had formed Classover Robix Inc., a subsidiary focused on embodied AI hardware, partnerships with robot manufacturers and distribution to schools and other institutions.
“Securing this $1.9 million of additional financing and establishing Classover Robix Inc. represents an important step in the Company’s continued development,” CEO Stephanie Luo said. “We are focused on building a practical robotics education ecosystem around KIDZBot, combining hardware, software, curriculum, and educator support. With our Android application fully operational and the iOS version currently in development, we are continuing to expand the KIDZBot platform. Together with our registered user base, ongoing discussions with educational networks, and broader robotics development efforts, we see opportunities to bring hands-on Physical AI learning to more students and schools.”
