SpaceX Closes $40 Billion Debt Deal for AI Chips, Elon Musk Says
CNBC reported that SpaceX has closed $40 billion in debt financing, primarily callable debt for GPUs used in AI systems, with the funding expected to arrive in the first and second quarters of 2027, Elon Musk said in an X post. Study Finds Grok and GPT Models Show Opposing Partisan Leans on U.S. Midterm Races
A Convovo study found SpaceXAI’s Grok 4.7 recommended Republican candidates in 92% of nearly 500 U.S. midterm races tested through its API, while OpenAI’s GPT-6.1 Sol recommended Democrats in 97%, with the models agreeing less than 10% of the time. Chinese Hackers Use AI Agents to Breach Thousands of Companies via ConnectWise
Microsoft said China state-aligned hackers breached ConnectWise’s cloud backup service and used stolen application credentials to access customer Microsoft environments, compromising about 2,250 organizations. The company said AI agents running on the open-source ARTEX framework made nearly 3,000 sign-in attempts per minute, while ConnectWise has paused access to the affected backup service and is working to restore it. Five9 research cited in the article found that companies should focus on successful resolution, seamless handoffs between AI and humans, and giving customers easy access to live agents when needed. To Make AI Morally Good, Tech Companies are Turning to Religion. But Some Say It Isn’t that Simple
Associated Press reported that AI companies including Anthropic, Meta, Google, Amazon and Microsoft are increasingly consulting religious scholars and faith leaders as they consider how to incorporate moral reasoning and diverse worldviews into AI systems.
