Casap Closes $56M Series B to Scale AI Agents Across Financial Services
Casap, an AI agent platform built for financial services, has closed an oversubscribed $56 million Series B led by Base10 Partners, with strategic participation from Experian and Synchrony and continued backing from Emergence Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The round brings total funding to $90 million and comes just over a year after a $25 million Series A, during which revenue grew tenfold, more than double the company’s target.
The platform uses specialized AI agents that investigate, decide and act across a financial institution’s existing systems, applying its policies and keeping an auditable record of every action while escalating to staff only when human judgment is needed. Initially focused on transaction disputes, Casap is expanding into fraud, collections, claims and complex exceptions, supported by forward-deployed teams that help institutions redesign operations.
Deployed at more than 100 banks, credit unions, fintechs and processors, Casap reports a 51% reduction in first-party fraud losses and a 96% chargeback win rate, against an industry average of 60%. It says dispute resolution times have fallen from up to 90 days to eight, with 73% of cases automated and human handling time cut from 45 minutes to one or two minutes per case.
The deal reflects a broader shift in fintech AI from assistive copilots toward autonomous agents that execute entire workflows.
